What the documentation describes
FX Replay documents historical practice sessions, market, limit and stop orders, and a journal associated with sessions. Its help centre describes notes, tags, screenshots and filters for reviewing trades. This review uses primary documentation consulted on 12 October 2026. We have not run a hands-on test or measured data accuracy, performance or customer support.
A routine that uses the record
Select one skill and write its rule before replaying the historical period. Add a note when making the decision and another when reviewing it. Use a few tags with stable meanings, such as missing entry condition or planned exit. This makes comparable examples easier to find. Distinguish hindsight commentary from the explanation recorded before the outcome became visible.
- Keep the historical date, instrument and configuration.
- Define each tag before applying it.
- Review sound decisions and mistakes even when their outcomes look similar.
Questions before choosing
Check instruments and dates covered, historical granularity, simulated costs, session retention and export options. The journal help states that notes support reflection while analytics use trade data. Writing more notes does not itself change those metrics. Confirm where the journal sits in the current interface, since the product may change. Export and retention requirements deserve particular attention before relying on an external account.
Fit and limits of this review
It may fit someone who wants replay and review context within one tool. You still need criteria for selecting sessions and assessing decisions. This review does not attribute profitability to the platform or recommend a particular subscription. Confirm features, data access and terms with the provider before moving an important history or paying for access.
