Before starting
Choose a scenario and read its data, capabilities and limitations. Identify the instrument, units, time zone and execution rules. Write one main skill and an observable check. An integrated session combines foundations; it does not require using every feature.
Prepare a plan specifying quantity, permitted actions, window and stopping condition. Check initial positions and orders. If you do not understand an essential detail, consult its lesson before starting rather than improvising a figure.
During practice
Before each action, describe the information you can see and the rule supporting the decision. Afterwards, inspect what actually filled. If conditions are absent, record the decision to wait. Keep your limit even if an appealing simulated result appears.
Synthetic objective: check quantity before submission and position after every fill. A winning trade with missing checks leaves that skill needing review. A losing trade with complete checks provides evidence of compliance in this exercise.
Complete the cycle
At the end, check positions and orders and review gross results, modelled costs and net results. Add a correct action, a mistake or question and the next practice. You do not need to invent a mistake when an attempt followed the rules; you can check the skill in a different scenario.
You have practised the pathway when you can explain preparation, decisions and review using your own evidence. That evidence is educational and limited in scope. It is not professional certification or proof of readiness to risk real money.
- Preserve the initial plan and review without overwriting them.
- Check the same skill in another unfamiliar scenario.
- Record what still needs understanding before adding difficulty.
Check your understanding
ACTIVITY · AT YOUR OWN PACE
Apply the idea before continuing
Write your answer before opening the reasoning. All prices, quantities and outcomes in this activity are hypothetical. Keep your explanation in your own notebook; it is not sent to the server.
The case
You have finished a scenario and want to repeat it to check whether you document the decision better. You already know the first attempt’s outcome.
Your task
State what you will keep fixed, what you will change and what the comparison cannot demonstrate. Then choose a different scenario to explore transfer.
Compare my answer with the reasoning
Keep both attempts, quantities, costs and rules; change one recording task and disclose that the scenario was familiar. Compare notes and compliance. Repeating a memorised case rehearses the process but does not establish prediction or generalisation. A different case adds evidence without certifying skill on its own.
Evidence you should be able to explain
Two retained records, one concrete process difference and the comparison’s limits.
If you cannot justify it, revisit the example and state what is missing. A memorised answer or simulated profit does not replace this explanation.
